The departmental union of the firemen (l'Union Départementale des Sapeurs Pompiers du Var,UDSP) has contacted Internethic for the creation of its Internet gateway, developed under the open source solution eZpublish. This has a vocation to better familiarize oneself with the job of the firemen and increase its visibility among the big public.

Implemented competences

The departmental union of the firemen wishes to have an Internet site in order to promote the actions of the Union and explain on-line and in real-time the work implemented by the different categorial comissions it coordinates.

Internethic has created a site ready to be used for this association including the principal functions of a dynamic website: on-line management of the Internet pages, images, contact formulas...

We can equally quote : the implementation of a graphic charter of the website and the implementation of an e-commerce store.

The creation of the page models allows each departmental union to customize its proper section.

Finally, the implementation of a forum, will consist of a complementary tool of communication between the different categorial comissions.

The site has been developed with the CMS eZpublish. It supports the XHTML Transitional standards, and is compatible with the latest navigators; Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, and Safari, sunder the Windows, Macintosh, or Linux systems.

Internethic has also optimized the natural optimization of the website, notably on the level of the choise of the domain name and l'optimization of the internal and external links..

To make URSPSM totally autonomous, Internethic has implemented an administration training for the people in charge of the site (management of the users, roles and rights, sections...). The person trained in this way, will cosequently also add new users, open new rubrics/ sections and consign the management on the concerned comissions and update the Internet site in the enterprise (sections, comissions, news...).
