The APAF (Provence Association for Family help) responds to the requests of assistance and care in the Bouches du Rhône. The APAF wished to have more visibility on Internet, which is why the association contacted Internethic for a search engine optimisation of its Web site.

The implemented competences

The process of search engine optimization of the internet site of APAF was carried out in several phases:

The existing position

The analysis of the website of APAF in terms of ergonomy and web behaviour (the ease of navigation, readibility of the web, accessibility etc.)

The natural search engine optimization

From the achieved results, Internethic has strongly recommended a certain number of actions allowing the improvement of natural optimization of the site and the increase of the classification of the website of APAF in the main search tools. We can especially mention:

- suggestions of the words or associated relevant key words in terms of the activities of the association

- optimization of the HTML references, title and the level of titles in the contents, description, key words.

- Counseling in terms of ergonomy and the delivered contents of the website (density of the key words and optimization of internal links to improve the optimization of the website as a whole

-manual submission of the Internet site on about twenty registers of names and appropriate search engines in terms of the specific activities of APAF fated to increasing the popularity of the Internet site by creating external links pointing towards its Internet site.

- modification of the domaine name: APAF is thus hosted at www.aide-domicile.fr.

-report of the positioning of the website preceding the measure of optimization. Another report in 3 months will be transmitted for the client to evaluate the results of the actions taken by Internethic.
