The innovation in the development of the connector between eZ publish and Open ERP proposed by Internethic with Prodigg, compared to the already existing connector, relates mainly to the multiple stock management, the webshop of eZpublish knowing one stock: it will act of that calculated in real time by Open ERP.

This connector will consequently be fully bidirectional and make it possible to completely benefit from the possibilities of both two solutions : on one side CMS for the entire contents of management leading article, the on-line sales and follow-up of the orders…, and on the other side, the ERP, for everything that relates to logistics operations and financial management, as well as the management of the client relationship (management of the contacts, tickets and notes, estimates, mailings…).

Open ERP thus centralizes from now on the databases relating to the customers and the products and returns on its information towards eZpublish in connected mode:

• the creation and updating of the product sheets made in Tiny ERP (name, reference, EAN, supplier, price, quantities available ...). with an exception of editorial content (detailed description, photos, animations ...), before being imported into eZ publish.

A workflow of validation will make it possible to publish only the products whose all descriptive information were indicated. The new process set up is described below :

• OpenERP by sourcing service that informs all the conditions of purchase (information provider, costs, delay of supply, packaging...)

• A unique reference number is automatically assigned to each product by Open ERP in compliance with the EAN13 standards

• The marketing department's complete product listings in Open ERP with the names, sales pitches and implementation of a pricing strategy through the assignment of "price lists" that may be unique to a customer or group of customers, range ...

• Datasheet products are validated within Open ERP before being exported automatically to the product catalogue of eZ publish - the team in charge of the complete e-commerce site, the level of eZ publish, the editorial content of product data sheets (photos of products, detailed descriptions, options, related products, accessories ...) before confirming their publication on-line

Inventory management is entrusted to Open ERP

• The stocks are maintained in Open ERP, and delivery calculated in real time depending on the status of each product in the supply chain. The products may be located in real or different virtual stocks: ongoing manufacturing plant of ex-works stock (deposit abroad), on the transportation (the products will be used for containers and milestones listed time will be introduced to have different stocks virtual course of cargo, and thereby displaying delivery times closest to reality)

• When an order is placed on-line, eZ publish ensures real-time cinematic purchase considering the availability of the products ordered, interviewing the connected Open ERP mode

• Stocks are reserved on-line in Open ERP as of a validation of the basket then decremented after a confirmation of the payment

• A process of workflow of cancellation of orders or exceeded term of payment will be developed so that the products of the cancelled orders are given in the logistic circuit, within the virtual stock of destination.
