Auralog, the world leader in the language learning desired to recreate its different institutional sites, and its e-commerce platform. It contacted Internethic for the implementation because of its competences on the eZ publish open source solution.

Objectives

The recreation concerned a unification of the Internet sites (institutional and e-business) of a groupe of 7 languages. The project had multiple targets, and it was implemented in cooperation with company's internal data processing and marketing services. Among the different functions proposed for this gateway, we can quote:

- the implementation of the workflow system of simple publication of the editorial content, starting out from the eZpublish open source solution,

- the implementation of the advanced functions in terms of the customer relationship and webmarketing management, and interconnection with the tools of the financial and commercial management used by the client,

The implemented competences

The advanced e-commerce tools permet it to effortlessly manage its commands and customers: securised payment, command processing workflow, space for the on-line follow-up of the commands for the clients, interface of the data input of the produced forwarded numbers for Fedex and UPS in order for the clients to be able to follow their on-line packages, sales statistics (per product, per region, typology of the client...)

- the creation of moderate forum spaces

- the implementation of S.S.O. system (Single Sign On), to enable the clients to purchase the learning sessions of foreign languages by being automatically recognized on the external e-learning platform and access only the commanded services, without a need for a new identification.

-the integration of a newsletter tool equiped with a module of inscription and management of scattering lists, an e-mail collecter and an automatic generator of personnalized newsletters

-the implementation of securized payment systems for each country

Internethic has equally implemented a training mission on eZpublish open source software for the data processing service of Auralog.
