Atelier 9, one of the most ancient and nominated agencies of urban architects of Marseille has asked Internethic to design an Internet site for its measure. This requires the agency to re-create the existing site with its eZ publish solution.

This improvement of the site allows thus the agency of the marseillean architects to propose new services for its partners and sponsors, as well as give them a greater visibility as for its realisations and ongoing projects.

Since April 2007, the agency has obtained efficiency by dividing its information directly on-line with its different partners and co-tractants through an extranet document of restricted access.

Implemented competences

Atelier 9 wished to create a new website allowing it to better reflect its image of quality and experience, to reformulate its general presentation and thus to increase the interest and the trust among its present and future clients. The agency also wished to optimize its referencing for better visibility of its realisations and services of more than fourty years.

Atelier 9 had a static Internet site, created in 2004, which did not correspond the image it wanted to give of its activities anymore. A reflexion was conducted on the organisation of the site, its presentation and the way of the forwarded messages.

Atelier 9 wished a dynamic website, developed with a help of CMS (Content Management System), so eZpublish was introduced. Among the principal functions of this this dynamic site we can quote: management of Internet pages on-line (design, edition, deleting...), the images, contact formulas, recent events, register of links...

The site, developed with the open source software, eZ publish, thus allows Atelier 9 to easily publish its recent events or calls on ongoing projects in real time and in perfect autonomy.

Extensions

Satisfied with the initial service of re-creation of its Internet site and the suppleness of eZpublish, Atelier 9 wished to go further by demanding Internethic a development on measures of systems on exchange and the sharing of documents on-line, in function of the projects initiated and followed by the Agency.

The principle is simple: in few clicks, certain talented administrators of Atelier 9 can start a new project on extranet. This step brings an automatic creation of the general files for the project, consisting of its phases of followed consequences (subfiles) and their sub spaces of associated classifications (by typology of the files : .jpg, .pdf, .dwg....). On contrary, a user account of a visitor type, specifically associated with audit project, with a unique login and password, produced in groups, is equally automatically created, a destination of all the partners authorized to consult the documents produced in order to follow the progress of work.

This allows the collaborators, partners, managers of work or finishing, to simply access on-line, without installation of the supplementary software, documents (rough drafts, sketches, plans, returned accounts...) of projects to which they have an authorization.
